One of the best Poutines in CB region. Crispy chicken is one of the best. Staff is friendly too.
We never had donairs before (traveling from NY), but I can’t imagine that anyone can make them any better. They were delicious! The Jr. size was more than one meal for me. We also had a serving of the fried chicken. It was to die for! So much so, that we went back in and ordered more to take home for dinner!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
Currently staying in Mira Gut. Decided to try Tom and Ett's, as the food looked great and it was a close option. We ordered online, which was straightforward. Everything was ready when it was supposed to be. Staff were great. My husband tried the donair and stuffed poutine, I tried the donair and fries (gravy) and our daughter tried the chicken finger and fries. The donair's are huge and stuffed to the gills with donair meat. The fries were perfect, cooking-wise and seasoning-wise. Everything was delicious. So delicious in fact, that we are going back this coming weekend for their fish and chips. I already cannot wait.
The best fried chicken on the island! I ordered a 3 piece and could only finish 2...they were huge! I love the home fries too! The coleslaw was delicious! It is my go to for chicken from now on! KF WHO?? Pair Tom & Etts with Chews Local and you have a perfect system for eats! Loved it!
OMG. There are places where you go to try stuff out that you’ve heard about and certain expectations are there. This was the case for Thom & Etts. Heard a lot of the fried chicken so I gave it a try and it did not disappoint. It might have been the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Definitely the best in Sydney. And the portions were massive. Fish & Chips today! Delicious, Fast & friendly service. Absolutely amazing. I loved the coleslaw too. The fries are seasoned just perfect, so good they didnt even need ketchup. Thanks to the ladies working today. Keep up the great service & cooking.

Ok, I've had fries all over North America and I'm going to promise you right now, these are literally the best fries I've ever eaten in my life. 45 years and counting. Crispy, flavourful and all around delightful. Anytime I'm on the East Coast, I am obviously obsessed with all things donair so it stands to reason that I ordered the doniar poutine. It was all I'd hoped it would be and more. Finished up with a mini cheesecake. I ordered a small, and I ate it for 2 meals- so value was also fantastic. If you haven't, you should go.
